The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn expressed condolences to Oleksandr Popov, the Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, in connection with his mother’s death.
“It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the death of your mother, Hanna Kharytonivna.
Her death is an irrevocable loss for your family and for everyone who knew and loved her. We bow our heads low in deep respect and sorrow in the memory of the unforgettable Hanna Kharytonivna.
Her bright image will remain in our hearts forever. May her soul repose in Christ. God, grant you strength to endure this woe.
Memory eternal to her,” reads the telegram of condolences.
